The wilds of Thundoria have teeth now — slimes squelch across the grass and flower fiends lob thorns from a distance, and the only sensible answer is to draw steel and fight back.

Highlights

  • Enemies in the wild — Slimes and ranged flower fiends patrol the world, pursue you when aggro'd, and back off when you escape their range.
  • Swing to attack — equip your weapon and press the attack key to swing in an arc; hits register on any enemy caught in the cone.
  • Arrows and projectiles — ranged weapons fire arrow projectiles that travel across the map and deal damage on impact; flower fiends return fire.
  • Floating damage numbers — every hit spawns a damage number above the target; critical hits appear in red at a larger size.
  • Enemies hit back — mobs deal damage on contact and with projectiles, so getting cornered is genuinely dangerous.
  • HP bar — a colour-graded health bar tracks your current HP, shifting from green to orange to red as you take damage.
  • Out-of-combat recovery — enemies restore to full health after breaking off pursuit, so unfinished fights can reset.
